Your Reunion Committee has put together a grand time with much to do in Omaha. Be sure to register early and make your plans now! Wednesday, June 24th - Arrival Day
3:00-5:00 pm - Board Meeting -Open to All Foundation Members
6:00 -9:00 pm - Meet & Greet Cocktail Hour & Reception/Dinner
9:00-11:00 pm - Red Feather Club
Thursday, June 25th - Omaha Day
6:00-8:30 am - Full American Breakfast at your leisure
9:00-9:30 am - Departures Commence (Pick from 1 of 3 tour options):
#1 - Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium #1 in America, lunch on your own at Zoo dining options
#2 - Lauritzen Gardens & Joslyn Art Museum, lunch on your own at either facility’s café
#3 - Union Pacific Railroad & Rails West Museums (Council Bluffs, IA) lunch included at the Buck Snort Restaurant (Departures commence at 9 to 9:30am, returns at 4:30pm.)
6:00-8:00 pm - Dinner off-campus at Spaghetti Works (personalized family style dining- pick your Pasta shape, Sauce style & Protein of choice) Walkable or Hotel Shuttle available.
8:30-10:00 pm - Fireside Chats- Video Veterans Stories at the Hotel [Red Feather Club “closed for service” tonight, early mission in the morning]
Friday, June 26th - Offutt Air Force Base Day!
6:00-7:30 am - Full American Breakfast at your leisure. Buses depart the hotel at 8:00am sharp (don’t be late!) You will experience something that the average citizen does not get access to, up close and personal, at today’s 95th Wing Command!
8:30 am - Arrive at the Main Gate for Check-In- (Military preregistration required for entry onto the Base) You will receive a Base Entry registration link via email by May 1, due back by May 15)
~ Photo Opportunity on our way to the 95th Wing Hangar.
~ Tour the 95th Wing’s E4B aircraft and meet the aircrew who fly and maintain it! (Some restrictions apply for international guests)
~ Enjoy a 95th Hangar Picnic & Activities with the Women & Men of the 95th Wing along with their families.
~ Visit the SAC chapel for Our Traditional Memorial Service on base as we depart Offutt.
4:00 pm - Offutt Departure
4:30 pm - Hotel Arrival | Enjoy Downtown-Old Market Omaha or a big juicy Omaha steak this evening dining On Your Own.
8:30 to 9:30 pm - Fireside Chats- Video Veterans Stories & Red Feather Club open till 11pm
Saturday, June 27th - Boys Town & Hangar Style Swing Dance
6:00-9:00 am - Full American Breakfast at your leisure.
9:30 am - Buses Depart Hotel for a tour of Boy’s Town USA lead by our very own Boy’s Town Alum, John Mollison, Membership Committee Chair
2:00 pm - Buses Depart Boy’s Town to Hotel
2:30 pm - Arrive at Hotel for free time and sprucing up.
5:30 pm - Buses depart to Eagles Landing at Offutt AFB for a 40’s themed Hangar Swing Dance. We’ll be serenaded all night long by Offutt’s Heartland of America Band! Enjoy Wine, Beer & soft drinks with an Abundant Assortment of Appetizers.
9:30 pm - Depart for Hotel
10:00 - 12:00 pm - Nightcap at the Red Feather Club
Sunday, June 28th - SAC Museum & Omaha Stormchasers Baseball
(An optional day…if you need to return home early, otherwise stay longer with the group.)
6:00-10:00 am - Full American Breakfast at your leisure.
11:00 am - Buses depart to the Strategic Air Command Museum and Storm Chasers Baseball Game
11:30 am - Arrive SAC Museum
3:30 pm - Buses depart for the KC Royals Triple A- Storm Chasers Baseball field (If you chose not to attend the game, the bus will return you early to the hotel after ballgame drop-off.)
4:00 pm - Arrive at Werner Field for a Picnic in the Party Patio & Seat to the Game.
5:00 pm - Opening Pitch
8:30 pm - Estimated Departure to Hotel
9:00-10:00 pm - Brief Farewell in the Red Feather Club
Monday, June 29th - Farewells, Goodbyes & Departures. See you next time!
