Donald R. Snyder

January 9, 1921 – April 26, 2015

Donald R. Snyder passed away April 26, 2015. He was born January 9, 1921 in Amboy, NY. He lived in that area for 92 years and then moved to Jacksonville. Donald was a National and NY State Champion Saxophone player in the 1930's, Graduate of Ithaca College (1937) and Syracuse University, B-17 Pilot in WWII, Choral Director, and School Principal in Camillus, NY. He loved to play golf and be with his family. He is predeceased by his wife, Gladys. He is survived by his sons David and Drew; grandchildren Mark, Christopher, Patrick, Margaret Hixon, Mathew and Meredith; great grandchildren Madeleine, Will, Isabelle, Grayson, Caroline, Ana Clare, Anna Lise, and Hall.
