Gordon N. Wickstrom

In deep sadness, the Memorials Foundation and the Heritage Association report that Gordon Wickstrom of Medford, OR, left formation on 31 May 2018 at age 93 years. Gordon was a 412th tail gunner and would have turned 94 today. Folded wings.
Gordon’s obituary reads as follows:
“Gordon Norman Wickstrom of Medford, OR, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2018 at the age of 93. Born October 22, 1924, graduate of Ballard High School, WA, he joined the US Air Force and served overseas during WWII. He loved horses and had a Gentleman’s Farm; a career with Pacific NW Bell in Seattle, WA. Retired, he opened Gordon’s Feed Company in Vancouver, WA. He was preceded in life by his Beloved wife Patricia K. Wickstrom. He was a devoted husband and loving parent with many dear friends. He is survived by his daughter Marcia K. Latham, grandchildren Anna Mejia (Josh Mejia), Charles Vanderhalf (Regina Vanderhalf), great-grandchildren Grace and Emma Mejia and Zoe Vanderhalf, and his dearly loved boys, ‘kitties Archie and Andy.’ There will not be a memorial service.”
