Thomas Joseph O'Hara
February 9, 1918 – August 10, 2000
O'HARA, MR. THOMAS JOSEPH, JR., age 82, of Alabaster, passed away August 10, 2000. Mr. O'Hara
served in the Army Air Corp. from 1941 to 1945. He was assigned to the 336th Bomb Squad(H), 95th Bomb Group (H), and Eighth Air Division. He was stationed at Horham, England, where he flew 27 missions over Germany. He was a member of the Rotary Club, Kiwanis Club and Eighth Air Force Foundation.
Survivors include: his sons, Thomas J. O'Hara, III of Clay, N.Y., Robert O'Hara of Newport News, Va., Michael O'Hara of Albuquerque, N.M., Charles O'Hara of Birming- ham, Ala., Martin O'Hara of Ithaca, N.Y., and Christopher O'Hara of Ithaca, N.Y.; daughters, Mary Eliza- beth Kotas of Syracuse, N.Y., Bar- bara Barks of Starks, La., and Therese O'Hara of Birmingham, Ala.; 12 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brother, Retired Lt. Col. Richard O'Hara of Marietta, Ga. The funeral service and burial
will be in Groton, N.Y. The family requests memorials to the Eighth Air Force Foundation in Savannah, Ga. Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home directing local arrangements.
