Paul F. Crider, 83, of Vero Beach, Florida died Sunday, December 29 at his residence.

Mr. Crider was born May 22, 1919 in Middletown, Ohio and had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1979 coming from Bloomeld Hills, Michigan.

Mr. Crider was a veteran of WW II serving in the Army Air Corps. He joined the Air Force in 1945 and became a Captain. He and his crew ew in the 334th Squadron, 95th Bomb Group, 13th Air Wing, 3rd Air Division and 8th U. S. Army Air Force.

He was Vice President of Associates Finance of South Bend, Indiana.

Mr. Crider was part of the starting team that built Ford Motor Credit Company and retired in 1979 as Executive Vice President.

He was a member of Forest Lake Country Club of Bloomeld Hills, Michigan and the Vero Beach Country Club and Vero Beach Yacht Club.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Dayton, Ohio and received his 50 year pin. He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Jeanne.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Kathleen Crider of Vero Beach, Daughter, Terry Kreissl of Atlanta, GA, 3 grandson, Kevin Kreissl of Atlanta, GA, Brent Kreissl of Charlotte, NC, Michael Kreissl of Chicago, IL, 1 great-grandson Charles Paul Kreissl, 4 stepchildren, Leslie, Kathleen, Stephen Barron and Marcella Burchett.

A memorial service will be at Christ by the Sea United Methodist Church on Tuesday, December 31 at 3:00 PM.

In lieu of owers donations may be made to VNA/Hospice of Indian River County, 1111 36th St., Vero Beach, FL 32960 or the American Cancer Society, 1401 21st St., Vero Beach, FL 32960 in memory of Mr. Crider.
