George Howard Stewart

March 17, 1920 – March 1, 2012

George Howard Stewart passed away March 1, 2012 at age 91.  He was born March 17, 1920 in Webster, MA and grew up in Cedartown, GA.  

He was a WWII bomber pilot and a retired USAF officer serving with the Maryland Air National Guard.  He worked and retired from Martin Marietta, working in both Baltimore MD and Orlando FL for almost 40 years.

His wife, the former Betty Linderson from Cedartown, GA., preceded him and he is survived by his sons, Robert M. and wife Anne, and Jeb E.B. and wife Sue.  George had three granddaughters Abby, Becky, and Kate plus 8 great grandchildren.  

He was interned at Arlington National Cemetery.
