June 4, 1925 – November 16, 2008

RICHARD PORTMANN, passed away Nov. 16 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Allyne (Rusty) m. 1950; loving father of Douglas A. and Alan Scott; dear grandfather of Lisa M.; brother of Patricia Sanow of Jacksonville, FL and the late Milton Portmann. Practicing attorney for 58 years. Veteran of W.W. II serving as navigator on a B-17 bomber over Germany in the 8th Air Force. A man for all seasons enjoying golf, hunting, skiing, scuba diving and a world traveler visiting over 100 countries. A Memorial Service will be privately held. Friends are welcome to a Celebration of Life from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22, at the Lakewood Country Club, 2613 Bradley Rd., Westlake, OH. The family requests no flowers.
