Dwight Stevens

Seventy-seven years, one day after D-Day, 20 year-old 2nd Lt Dwight Stevens arrived with his B-17 crew at Prestwick, Scotland via C-57 transport. They were assigned to the 95th Bomb Group (H), 336th Squadron at Horham (Station 119). Dwight flew his first of 33 missions July 8, 1944 as co-pilot with his last mission flown November 21, 1944. He arrived Boston via transport ship December 27, 1944. – Doug Cerretti
