Eugene LeVan

For the record, this photo is from March of 1945 after he returned to the U.S. and was a navigation instructor at Selman Field, Monroe, LA. The aircraft is the military version of the Lockheed Lodestar (C-56). He would later fly a Lodestar as a corporate pilot before serving 14 years in West Africa as a missionary pilot for the Lutheran Church. – Richard M. LeVan
