Thomas Cassidy

December 18, 1922 – January 16, 2018

With heavy hearts, the Memorials Foundation and the Heritage Association report that Thomas Cassidy of Hudson, FL, left formation on 16 January 2018 at age 95. Tom was a 334th waist gunner. Folded wings.

Tom was born on 18 December 1922. He flew his tour with the Curt Mozley crew from January through Mary 1945, participating in 33 missions that included three CHOWHOUND runs.

Tom’s obituary states that he is “survived by his children, Douglas (Linda), Janice (Paul); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.” Tom’s son Doug kindly informed Linda Endris of his father’s passing.

Funeral arrangements were handled by the Dobies Funeral Home, Congress St, New Port Richey, FL. The obituary was published in the Tampa Bay Times on 19 January 2018.
