Ernest T Blanton
September 20, 1905 – September 18, 1971
The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. on Sunday at the Law Mortuary for Ernest T. Blanton of 326 Bonfoy Ave., who died Thursday in a Denver hospital.
Mass of the Resurrection will be sung at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Divine Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, with the Rev. Omer V Foxhoven, celebrant. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Blanton was born Sept. 20, 1905 in Norman, Okla. A retired drug salesman, he came here in 1970 from Ventura, Calif.
He served during World War II.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Anne Blanton; two daughters, Mrs. Patricia J. Miller of Colorado Springs, and Mrs. Mary Ann Garrett of Corpus Christi, Tex.; four sons, Van Milam, of Orlando, Fla., Don L Milam, of Swinksville, Pa., James A Milam, of Oklahoma City, Okla. And Jerold J. Blanton of San Gabriel, Calif.; and two sisters, Mrs. Thelma Parks, of Englewood, Calif., and Mrs. Lessie King of San Antonio, Texas.
