Michael Roberti

September 10, 1924 – October 15, 2021

Michael Roberti, resident of Lincolnshire, Illinois for 40 years; loving father of Michael (Carolyn) Roberti, (Lebanon, NJ) and Laura-Lee (Steve) Schwefel, (Lake Geneva, WI); proud grandfather of Michael and Jennifer Roberti and Dean and Keith Schwefel; dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. 

Michael was preceded in death by his beloved wife Dorothy Roberti of 64 years, sisters Rose and Ann, brothers Vincent and Joseph, and parents Grace and Joseph Roberti. He is survived by his brother Dominic and sister-in-law Joan Roberti. 

Michael grew up in Newark, New Jersey with his brothers and sisters. Michael served in the Airforce in Europe during WW II and graduated from the Newark College of Engineering with a degree in Electrical Engineering upon his return from the war. He went on to have a successful career as an electrical engineer, employed by Bendix Corporation and then Xerox before joining his brothers Joe and Vince at their company, MPC Products in Skokie, IL. He was a tireless inventor, having written numerous patents for use in the aerospace industry during his career. 

He was a Member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Lake Forest. Michael was a gifted pianist, enjoyed sports and all things family. 

Visitation from 9:30- 10:30a.m. at Wenban Funeral Home Wednesday October 20, 2021, 320 Vine Avenue Lake Forest, Illinois. Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church Lake Forest, Illinois. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Roberti Community House, P.O.
