Vergene W Ford

July 2, 1920 – June 13, 2011

Vergene W. Ford, born July 2 1920 at Provo, Utah, died June 13, 2011 at Spokane Washington. Preceded in death by spouses Ila Jean and Ila Ann and stepson Wayne Cunningham. Survived by four children Roger Ford, Tyler, WA; Diane McDanel, Norman, OK; Ronald Ford, South Milwaukee, WI and Virginia Bull, Salt Lake City, UT; two stepchildren Ronald Cunningham, CA, Clarice Moser, Spokane Valley, WA; stepdaughter-in-law, Della Cunningham, Port Orford, OR and numerous grand and great-grandchildren. 

He flew combat missions in World War II for the US Army Air Corp and the US Air Force in the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He retired to Spokane in 1972, where he worked in the housing construction industry, bank building loan division and real estate.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
