Ian Gordon Hutchison

Ian Gordon Hutchison "Hutch" was born in Dundee, Scotland and immigrated to the United States with his family when he was a young boy. He lived with his family in Cincinnati until 1942 when he enlisted in the Army Air Force.

A World War II veteran, Hutch logged 30 combat missions over Germany while flying as a B-17 tail gunner with the 95th Bomb Group, Station 119, in Horham, England, in 1944. He became a United States citizen while serving his country.

Hutch was married on February 22, 1945, and is survived by his "queen of hearts", Marguerite "Faye". The Hutchison's moved to the Seattle area in 1946 and Hutch enlisted in the Navy as a Machinist Mate. He was later employed by The Boeing Company and retired in 1984 after 35 years of service.

Hutch loved to travel during his years of retirement. His favorite locations were winters in El Centro, CA, Reno and Mexico. He also met with his Air Force Bomber group for reunions in the United States and in England.

In addition to his wife; Hutch is also survived by his children, Helen and Marvin Chase, Gordon and Marilyn Hutchison, Ron and Patti Hutchison, and Don and Cindy Hutchison; his grandchildren Sean and Melissa Chase, Heidi Chase, Brandi and Paul McLeod, Holly Hutchison, Ryan Hutchison, Joshua Hutchison, Kristropher Hutchison, Kristi Tripple and Buck Ehlers; and two great- grandchildren Brendan and Lily McLeod.
