Born January 2nd, 1921 in Marion, IA. Died peacefully on January 25th at age 86, with his family at his side.

Preceded in death by parents John and Margaret (Burns) Ferreter, and siblings Eileen, Buddy, Marc, and Edward. Survived by brother Richard of Cedar Rapids, IA.

He will be remembered for his absolute devotion to his wife of 59 years, Betty (Wolter). Selfless dedication to children David of Olympia, WA, Kevin (Nancy), Paul (Mary K.), Ann Parsons (Eric), Patrick (Debbie), Rick (Jill), and Michael (Michelle). Received constant joy from his 11 grandchildren, and enjoyed careers in watchmaking and the grocery business.

Survived 35 missions while stationed in Horham, England as a B-17 pilot with the 8th Air Force / 95th Bomb Group / 334th Squadron.

He cherished his memories of childhood summers spent on the farm and of 11 years traveling the U.S. and Canada with Betty in their R.V. Will be greatly missed and remembered for his wonderful wit, wisdom, and spirit. At his request, a Sunday Mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church will be dedicated to his memory.
