Chief Master Sgt., retired, U.S. Air Force, Malcolm E. Eubert, age 90, was born on May 2, 1924, in Youngwood, Pa. He passed away on June 22, 2014. He enlisted in the Army Air Corp at 17, during World War II, seeing service with the 95th Bomb Group of the Eighth Air Force. He was a decorated war veteran.

He continued his military service with the U.S. Air Force for 31 years traveling extensively throughout the world with a wide variety of duty assignments. He retired in 1973 as a loadmaster superintendent with the First Aerial Port Squadron at Langley Air Force Base, Va.

Mal is survived by his wife of 61 years, Rae Joy. He was the father of Malcolm, E. Eubert Jr. and Brenda K. Kime; grandfather of Malcolm E. Eubert III, Jonathan M. Eubert (deceased), Valerie R. Eubert, Kirsten E. Freeman (Kime), and Ashley Kime; great-grandfather to Zoe and Camryn Eubert.

A Fort Walton Beach visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29, at the Emerald Coast Funeral Home, from 2 to 4 p.m. A second visitation will be held at the Memory Chapel in Laurel, Miss., on Tuesday, July 1, from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral service will follow. Interment will be at the Hickory Grove Cemetery in Laurel immediately after the services.
