Robert T. Spinnenweber

Robert T. Spinnenweber, 89, of Bethel Park, passed away Monday, Sept. 3, 2012. He was the beloved husband of the late Marjorie K. (Kohler) Spinnenweber and Elizabeth J. Spinnenweber; father of Keith R. and Bruce P. (Debra) Spinnenweber; grandfather of Lauren K. Spinnenweber and the late Brian P. Spinnenweber; and brother of Kathleen Zingale.

Robert was a 1941 graduate of Carrick High School and graduated from Penn State in 1947. He was a World War II veteran, serving as a bombardier with the 95th Bomb Group, completing 30 missions. Robert retired from United States Steel Corporate Headquarters in 1982 as a senior industrial engineer. He was an avid golfer and past member of Nemacolin Country Club and an active member of Deep Creek Yacht Club.
